Melbourne International Jazz Festival takes over Prahran Square with a huge afternoon of free live music
Get ready for an electrifying afternoon of world-class jazz at Prahran Square! On Saturday 24 October the Melbourne International Jazz Festival transforms Prahran Square into a hub of rhythm, energy, and excitement.
Feel the power of a roaring big band as the Melbourne Conservatorium Big Band kicks off the festivities, followed by the lush, soulful melodies of Owelu Dreamhouse. Closing the evening is internationally acclaimed Afro-soul jazz vocalist and trumpeter South African sensation Mandisi Dyantyis with Afrospace Interchange. DJ Mz Rizk will keep the music and energy flowing between each set.
