This November, Prahran Square will transform into a playground of imagination and art as the Ephemeral Collection and The Bubble Emporium arrive for a limited time.

From 10 to 23 November 2025, visitors are invited to experience this free, interactive art experience, brought to life through immersive illumination, sound, and live performances. Set in the heart of the Chapel Street Precinct, the activations invite audiences of all ages to reconnect with joy, curiosity, and community spirit through two captivating works: Ephemeral Collection by Atelier Sisu and The Bubble Emporium by Homunculus Theatre.

Visitors can explore Ephemeral Collection across the day or return after dark for a completely new perspective. This stunning free art experience is expected to attract thousands of daily visitors over its 14-day run. Audiences are invited to linger longer and enjoy these free art experiences that will pair perfectly with the spring air and longer days in Prahran Square.

By day, Ephemeral Collection is a series of glistening, enormous bubble forms, standing at 7.5m in height. By day, the artwork glistens as the dichroic film surfaces refracts light, creating a kaleidoscope of colour and shifting reflections. As the sun sets, Ephemeral Collection transforms with a gentle illumination and ambient soundscape, turning Prahran Square into a luminous spectacle that celebrates impermanence and the beauty of being in the moment. This temporary installation invites visitors to see the world anew through light, colour, and time.

For five nights only Prahran Square will present the Victorian Premiere of The Bubble Emporium, for 10 unique performances across five extraordinary nights. The Golden Oldies will perform with whimsy and charm, captivating the young and young at heart as 20,000 bubbles per minute sparkle in the air, against a backdrop of music and theatre.  The performances shift gears at 8pm each night with The Boys in Blue pumping up the volume for a free outdoor dance party like no other.

More than a performance, The Bubble Emporium is an enchanting world of wonder and delight that connects directly to the hearts of audiences aged 0 to 100, creating unforgettable moments of laughter through the universal delight of bubbles shimmering, drifting, and dancing beneath the evening sky.
