The City of Stonnington is proud to support Respect Victoria’s Respect Women: ‘Call It Out’ campaign. The campaign is part of the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which runs from 25 November to 10 December.

Respect is the building block of all healthy relationships, yet almost daily, the evidence of women encountering disrespect, sexism, harassment, and violence is exposed. Choosing to lead with respect in our relationships, workplaces, schools, and homes can ultimately prevent family violence and violence against women.

Our gardens will be covered in orange blooms, symbolising hope and optimism for a future free from violence against women and girls.

Activities include a sight and sound installation at the Pipes in Prahran Square, themed Storytime sessions in libraries, an information session on Modelling Respect and Equality (MoRE) – Unpacking the Man Box, a Youth Art Exhibition and more.
